ABOUT SHERRY S. HARRELL
Valdosta Attorney

Mrs. Sherry S. Harrell
Sherry attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree, and while there, met her future husband to whom she has now been married for more than 30 years. After graduation, she moved to Macon to attend Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University. Upon graduation from law school, Sherry worked in Macon for 3 years as a judicial clerk for the Bibb Judicial Circuit.
In 1991, Sherry and her husband married and moved to Valdosta, where she began working as an associate attorney for a large insurance defense firm.
Then in 1997, Sherry opened her own law office in downtown Valdosta, specializing in plaintiff's personal injury work. She worked diligently in that position for 15 years until she decided to close her office so she could spend more time with her husband and their three sons as they were growing up. During this time, Sherry continued to work part-time out of her home, focusing more on estate planning and business formations, up until 2019.
Sherry's work and home life came to a screeching halt in October 2019 when she was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. God has performed many miracles on her body. It has taken two years to fully recover, but she is happy to announce that she is back practicing law again as of January 2022.

Sherry loves doing activities with her family, cheering on her Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves, and watching her boys play basketball. She and her family attend Northside Baptist Church.
